Mixed Blood resident artist Aditi Kapil authors Love Person, a language-laden love mystery.
An intellectually intriguing drama about language as a portal and barrier to human connection in which love transcends sexual orientation, physical attraction, and social structure, and rests instead on the ways in which people communicate. Two couples, three cultures, and four languages blossom, break, sustain, repair, and flourish in this polyglot play.
Performed in American Sign Language (ASL), Sanskrit, spoken English, and projected e-mail, this production will be accessible to Deaf and Hearing audiences alike.
