Mixed Blood Theatre is committed to being accessible to all, regardless of ability. In July 2005, Mixed Blood received the eighth annual Arts Access Award from VSA arts of Minnesota, recognizing organizations that actively promote access to the arts for people with disabilities.

Our performance space is fully accessible for wheelchair users and those unable to ascend stairs. A handicapped permit parking spot is adjacent to the building (in the driveway); a ramp leads to the building entrance and a wheelchair-accessible restroom is located in the lobby. Ground level seating is available in several areas of the theater.

For each production, Mixed Blood offers a performance that is:

• ASL-interpreted
• captioned for the hearing impaired
• audio described for people with low vision

Other accommodations, such as aisle seating, large-print programs, or advance copies of program materials, are available upon request.
