Audition
Formal auditions are conducted annually via the Twin
Cities Unified Theatre Auditions, as well as periodically for specific roles and shows.
Photos and resumes are always welcome. Send to Mixed Blood Theatre, attn:

color, multilingual actors, and actors with disabilities are especially encouraged
to audition.

Script Submission
Mixed Blood welcomes submissions of contemporary plays that pursue and realize the company's mission and aesthetic. Mixed Blood uses theatre to address pluralism, usually manifest in race, culture, language, disability, gender, nationality, affectional orientation, and political worldview. Predictably unpredictable, the theatre particularly invites polyglot plays, scripts from the global stage, and work that advances the art form. Send query or query plus 10 pages to Aditi Kapil at Literary@mixedblood.com. Email preferred; snail mail accepted with SASE. Allow 2-3 months for response.
