Minnecanos, Mixed Blood's bilingual touring show by Joe Minjares and Thomas Benitez, played for two weeks at the Parkway Theater in south Minneapolis, March 12–24, 2012. Using mementos collected over a lifetime and lively corridos (story songs), an old man awakens his great-grandchild’s interest in their shared Chicano history. The expanded show is performed in Spanish and English, with projected English and Spanish super-titles.
